![]() ![]() This option is useful when you are recruiting units in one sector and gathering resources in another one. Select a main building of a sector and click on an arrow below a resource. You can select where you want to store your resources. This is only possible if your sectors are connected by roads (for your carts). if one sector produces iron and you want to create units in another sector then your workers have to transport that resource to the sector before you can recruit new warriors. ![]() ![]() However, you should remember that, in default, collected resources are stored in a sector in which they were gathered (select a main building to learn how many resources a given sector has). Your currently owned resources are displayed in the upper part of the screen. You should store them in your starting sector. If you like a more aggressive build (or don't want to spam Iceburst/Wave of Ice too often), you can add Fire for more burst damage and drop one of the white magic branches. The most basic resources - wood and food. I've always been too lazy to try a mage in BoW due to the high difficulty of the early game, so I can't say anything about it. The end of TOoD and especially SotP (thanks to Aura of Eternity and the increased freeze effect) is very easy. Be careful, the ice elementals in the far north might destroy the base of the ice elves! The "Golem Icehurler" (the ones that cast Wave of Ice) drop spells level 11, but they also spawn only for a limited amount of time. I think 9 is only limited (since two types of ice elves stop spwaning after a while). Ice elves drop spells of levels 8, 9 and 10. Icegate marsh is a key map for high-level spells. Yes, in Icegate Marsh you can only use buffs and healing with your avatar, but that's still not too hard. Having Wave of Ice and Aura of Light by the end of Icegate Marsh helps a lot. If you start with ice, the start of TOoD is easy, since the damage of Iceburst Lvl 1 is very high. Aura of Eternity (Aura of Fast Running in TOoD/BoW) significantly reduces the waiting time when the avatar has to travel throughout the map, especially when your charisma increases in the late game. Invulnerability lets you destroy Black Towers (this not more than funny, though). The auras (Aura of Light, Aura of Eternity, Aura of Healing) can help in a lot of situations. Against Undead and Iron Ones, boon does huge damage. Ice damages and freezes at the same time (and in SotP, the duration of the freeze effect of Iceburst and Wave of Ice is increased A LOT). It's very defensive and relatively slow, but no less powerful. ![]() I liked my latest version of this, Ice + Life + Boons. I've often played Elemental + White magic. But I guess that's okay, since the forum doesn't really become confusing this way Hi! I know that replying here is probably an act of necromancy. ![]()
